Every generic Mocha Add-in Package should include a manifest at the archive root.

Game activity entries

A gameActivity entry point adds an activity object with launch URL, dimensions, participant limits, channel API version, and an optional packet-rate limit. Use this only for reviewed two-party experiences.

Tab page entries

A tabPage entry point adds a reviewed web or packaged HTML panel to Messenger. Each tab must provide an icon. Hosted tabs must declare every HTTPS origin they load.

Status provider entries

A statusProvider entry point is for user-approved integrations such as Spotify, Apple Music, or Windows Media Player. It may request presence.nowPlaying and presence.statusWrite, but it must not read conversations or contact lists.

Companion bridge entries

A companionBridge entry point is reserved for reviewed companion programs such as a future Mocha Plus! app. It declares a small command list and still requires a visible user consent prompt in Messenger.

Required fields

Field	Description
format	Must be MochaAddIn/1.0 for the first manifest version.
id	Stable unique add-in identifier, preferably reverse-DNS style.
name	User-facing add-in name.
version	Semantic version such as 1.0.0.
summary	Short catalog description.
publisher	Publisher name, and preferably HTTPS URL or support contact.
targets	Supported Messenger version and platform list.
permissions	Declared capabilities requested by the add-in.
entryPoints	Declarative UI or asset entry points exposed by the add-in.

The current JSON Schema is available at /developers/schema/mocha-addin-manifest-v1.schema.json. Treat it as a developer preview until catalog ingestion is wired up.
