Add-in Security Requirements
Users should know what an add-in can do
Mocha add-ins use declared permissions and reviewed packages so users are not asked to trust hidden behavior.

Tab safety
Tabs cannot receive private messages, contact lists, Passport tokens, saved credentials, or arbitrary local files. Hosted tabs must use HTTPS and declared origins. Packaged tabs must stay inside their package folder.
Higher-risk capabilities such as reading messages, sending automatic messages, changing contacts, or running code inside Messenger are intentionally excluded from the first add-in platform.
